You are not alone in your problem, this is just one
of many we receive each week about why men cannot be open and honest
and use the telephone.
The problem for
the man is that he has to make choices yet has to hold off making a
final choice or commitment until he is sure (or gets trapped!)
At
present, you are an 'option' to him. Which is probably a bit better
than not being an option! However, he has to weigh up the other
options!
If he
were to be straight with you and his response was 'negative', then he
would lose you as an option. He does not want to do that as he does
not feel negative towards you.
If he
were to be straight with you and his response was 'positive', then
that would restrict his freedom to explore other 'options'.
Let's
look positively at this. He hasn't dumped you or said 'no', so he
still sees you as a possibility.
On the
other hand, you have to decide how long you are going to give him to
make up his mind.
