I guess at the
moment that your are feeling insecure. Your girlfriend has said she
wants a break from your relationship and to you it sounds like she
wants a break from you.
You do not say
why she wants a break. Do you know the reasons ? Possibly not and this
will make you even more insecure.
No doubt you
are wondering whether this break will become permanent. This is always
a possibility, maybe having a break is her way of gently letting go.
On the other hand, there may well be valid other reasons why she wants
a break and not to end it fully.
You ask if
there is another way to solve the problem. The only other way is to
talk openly and honestly about your relationship. If she is prepared
to do this and if you are prepared to do this, then it will give both
of you insights into how your relationship has been and the feelings
you both have. It may also deepen the feelings you have for each
other.
Also, keep in
mind, that talking may also reveal the downside of your relationship.
In which case, it may reveal that it is time to move on.
Either way, you
will hopefully gain insights into how your relationship has been and
how it can progress.
